This is a powerful well-researched book about how America was deceived before the passage of Roe V. Wade in 1973. Terry Beatley was able to interview the somewhat reclusive Dr. Bernard Nathanson before he died in 2011. She made a promise to help get the truth out about abortion and the lies told back in the early 1970’s, but little did she realize this promise would result in this book and an ongoing activism in her pro-life mission. The book is well-organized and an important one to have as a reference in your Christian library.

It is ironic that the same group of people who talk about the settled science of “global warming” wont discuss the new science of baby’s heart beats as early as just a couple of weeks. When Roe v Wade was ruled on, the ultrasound was just becoming commonly used. Today, we have 3-D ultrasound and there is no debate or science needed to figure out that it is a baby.
